January 2025 Monthly Studio Report

Quite the historic month we witnessed in January and on that note, it's time to kick off our first report of the year!

January came in with the expectation of doing some deep dives into securing musical talent and we had some good meetings during the month. While we haven't secured the new talent yet, the process is well underway.

Above all, we're looking for someone who can design a theme which fits the period and when it comes to digital music creation, some can do it, some can't.

Given they also need to be able to make looping tracks adds more to the requirements. Putting that all under a price point we can handle, is probably the hardest part of it and we may have to bite the bullet in the end if it comes down to it.

In other news, as we continued our search, we finished up a few more add on key images for the epilogue on the story. All in all, they aren't much but they'll make the ending a bit richer than it was before.

There are some rumblings on the Dust and Air side of things too as we are looking at shifting art assets for it back into production with help from our Project 2 team. However, right now, we need to get the music squared away.

Since so much revolves around music, we're going to close today with a happy note as we're happy to announce that Sean, who did the score to Dust and Air, is going to release the Dust and Air soundtrack!

This has been something we've wanted to do since launch but had trouble getting all the musicians together to decide on it as some went through some big real life troubles at the time. Then due to other work, we put it on the backburner hoping to revisit it later when matters for them improved.

For Sean, he's been through a lot and when he approached us about getting it released, we were super happy to green light. He then was able to reach out to the other musicians and they got a plan together for releasing.

To see him creating music again and being encouraged to pursue his dreams is important to us so we've given him our blessing to release it and we're extremely excited to be able to help support him.

The tracks will be releasing on the 17th of February and you can find them via his page here: Sean Esperance

Alright, that's it for the month. February we continue our talent search so until next time, see you in the skies!
